A dreamlike place to relax and enjoy yourself A fantastic hotel with a beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers, both in the shade and in the sun...everything you could want, and spotlessly clean. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and clothes rack, as well as glasses and cutlery. Coffee was offered in the morning, which we enjoyed outside. The center of Luz, with its many restaurants, shops, and the beach, is about a 12-15 minute walk away, and a pizzeria is even closer, just 8-10 minutes. On the Fisherman's Trail, this is a great place to take a break between the last two, not-so-long stages. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Very friendly staff. We arrived very late and they called to confirm our arrival time so someone would be there to greet us. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool area is excellent, the rooms are excellent and clean, with no mold in the bathroom like in other hotels in the region.

Everything was perfect! Just a 10-minute walk to the beach and restaurants! Super clean! The owner is very friendly and keeps the place super clean! Having the pool right outside the room is a real plus, especially after a long, hot day!

This place is just spectacular. Firstly Rui is the kindest and most hardworking person I ever met. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived early - he offered for us to relax by the pool while it was being cleaned. When we got to our room - it was spotless. The property is not in Lagos- it’s in a village called Luz. It quite cute with the best Chinese restaurant nearby and a fantastic restaurant called Alloro. Great value for quality food.i do feel it would be helpful to have a car. The room has a fridge and an air conditioner that’s works well and is quiet. I had a balcony with a view of the pool. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic, highly recommended in Luz. The owner is incredibly friendly and even offered to pick us up in Monchique when we couldn't get a taxi back. He always thought of us, even on the day of departure. I have never stayed in such a clean hotel. Not a grain of sand, not a particle of dust; even the shower curtain was changed. Quiet and pleasant place, with a large pool where there are always sun loungers available. Nothing to complain about.

We had an amazing stay here. Super cozy and calm atmosphere with a nice pool. The service was amazing, super friendly and always looking to help a little extra. Location is great with many options, walking distance to Luz for dinner/lunch or going to the beach, it’s also easy to take an uber to Lagos or Burgau which both are definitely worth a visit. Would definitely stay at Aurora Sol again!
